For that much , how much more money did the city spend for supplies for them ?
So $50,000 for what a test of some kind ?
Think they could have spent that money better .
Theres probably a good reason why others haven't.
Like the cost .
Wait till it runs out of electricity chasing someone.
Ever see a "stealth" fire truck?
Nothing more ironic than a road pirate on a vehicle which does not require seat belts; while giving other people seatbelt tickets.
People: complain about aggressive drivers.
Also people: whine when the police work to stop the aggressive drivers.
Police training is 6 months. We then arm these people and demand the public respect these people with less training than a hair stylist.
If only the money spent on stealth cars were spent on psychology training on how to deal with mentally ill other than emptying a clip into a wood widler.
We don't need better toys, we need better cops.
All in the name of REVENUE.
Only in America where the police "protect and serve" is "stealth" a good thing.
Everywhere else, police are easily identifiable.

Ive seen this movie, but the motorcycles had rockets and stuff.
"Did you hear that? I think I heard a cop with their sirens off"
- No one, ever.
Adam Heim Marshall Heim could you imagine if they had these when we would chief at LP?
Why should the police be hiding shouldn't they be public figured out for all of us to see?
So, if they have to chase you they wont make it out of the city before needing to charge
Those bikes are very quick.
How often do they need to be plugged in?
Now how will I smoke crack in a ditch by the elementary???
Just trying to make their quotas harassing people going to work!
If they can ride on the grass so can we
Gas powered would’ve been a lot cheaper just watched the news on this $50,000
Bahaha. They don’t arrest anyone for anything. Now they won’t scare the junkie with the needle in his vein as they ride by and wave.
Love that our police are well provisioned but I feel that our public schools need the money more.
A unit of wheat is called a bushel, and a standard weight of potatoes is called a century. But hemp as a fully legal U.S. agricultural commodity is so new that a unit of hemp seed doesn't yet have a universal name or an agreed-upon quantity. ... See MoreSee Less
Lets call it a pound? A ounce? We already figured this out
We always called it a dime.
It is actually not new why go back in history and find out what they used to call because we hemp a lot a long time ago.
“In the United States, the use and possession of cannabis is illegal under federal law for any purpose, by way of the Controlled Substances Act of 1970. Under the CSA, cannabis is classified as a Schedule I substance”, ...
How can it have an official commodities name, when it isn’t legal federally?
Never hear of a gram, quarter, oz, or lb?
I know, it should be called a "Hump!"
H. for high
U. for up
M. for munchies
P. for pounds of weed
Well, what do ya think? =D
Call it a lid
One pound of dirt?
Kilograms, just like other drugs.
A bail. Just like hay, 100lbs.
A few months back Juan Williams, a liberal, of Foxnews on their show The Five pointed out that the number 1 issue of voting Democrats is Climate Change. I believe that was 80% of the vote when he cited the statistic.
Ironically, the only one running on that platform almost exclusively is Inslee. And he can’t even get out of the bottom of the pack.
What does that tell you? LOL.
ILLEGAL ALIENS not in the shadows apparently.
I would like to see KOMO point blank ask Gov. Inslee if he is aware of the lack of support he will garner from Washington State residents and is he worried at all that the rest of the country will now become aware of what a horrible state of affairs Washington State is due to his lack of leadership and downright bad decisions....instead of media asking him about his plan to save the ORCAs.
If a governor has positive results, it would be.
Our governor has done two things-increase the size of government bureaucracies and massively increased our taxes..
All while not making anything better for businesses or citizens.
This guy is such an idiot.
Inslee. Waste of time, effort, and other people's money.
Give it up Jay boy your a looser, your loosing and it shows in our state and with your idiocracy in thinking you stand a chance , your own party doesn't support you. Take your little butt buddy Ferguson and jump off a cliff!
Do us all a favor Mr Inslee. Step down out of politics. Your not a good candidate for president for sure
But being a trashy reality show star is. Wonderful state of affairs our country is in. 🤔🙄
INSLEE 2020! Because he has 2020 vision for America's future! lol
Inslee is a Governor in title only. Sadly, our voting system is compromised so we get appointments like this.
Because he is a lying farce
Still on his vanity tour! Even though he knows he is hated and can't even poll above 1%! Just keeps wasting tax $ and ripping off the public. Him and Fergie should marry and run away together!
Even Inslee's shadow has a higher IQ than he does
I have a better chance of becoming president than Jay Inslee does.
Here's how well the people of Seattle are doing under his leadership
Fix Washington State first.
Because he’s a idiot?
Because he's an idiot and the rest of the country is wondering how he is a Governor in the first place
Go away you are a terrible governor. !!!!
Not even doing his elected job. Get him out.
and being a total joke as a Governor like Inslee is I am sure is an inhibitor
GOOD BYE, MR. INSLEE. BRING ON THE NEXT IDIOT PLEASE.
Hey J did you ever create jobs for us? NO only you ever CREATE was more and more TAXES. If you're a governor likely should have had we wouldn't have so many homeless. About were you are going too put more people at with no home or jobs Because we cannot just work for you we need to work for us.
How would he know what it's like to be a Governor.

Oh, Good I had not heard of any of these until now.
The stories are real but the way the media presents them... not so much.
KOMO has a knack for lying to make non news seem relevant so....
Look for social media blackout from 6-23 to 7-03, on 7-04 Trump will have a big surprise for us all...is JFK Jr alive? I can't wait to find out!!
I'm just glad the blue lobster is real and will live on.... lol 😊
You're gonna confuse the 30%.
Sarah Sanders didn’t resign and the Prince of Whales was on porpoise
Did Trump pass gas?
Fake news station reporting on fake news, just wow!
The pathetic liberal playbook.
Trump won't be elected.
Trump won't last 30 days.
Trump won't last 100 days.
Trump won't make it to the holidays.
Comey's testimony will put Trump behind bars forever.
Session's testimony will start impeachment process for Trump.
Stormy Daniels will impeach Trump.
Robert Mueller will impeach Trump.
This pattern is very familiar within the democratic party. The acts of false accusations, lies and empty threats. Does any of the this sound familiar...
Following the threats of Trump being forced out of office the snowflakes flooded social media with these comments.
Snowflakes turn into blizzards, his time is coming.
Blizzards turn into avalanches, his time is coming.
After the testimonies of James Comey and Jeff Sessions, Stormy Daniels failure and Robert Mueller's failure these horrible winter atrocities have turned into "winter is coming"
Another huge display of these threats and excuses of, could have, would have, should have Been's is.
I got over heated.
Its just the sniffels.
It's just allergies.
It's just a cold.
It's just the flu.
Turns out it's pneumonia.
No collusion found.
No Russian vote manipulation in the election.
No Russian ties.
It is fact the Russian narrative is a lie and fake news.
As they say...
The store only runs as good as the management does.
See the obvious...
DO YOU KNOW THIS MAN? The King County Sheriff’s Office says he's suspected of robbing the Shoreline Wells Fargo on Greenwood Ave N TWICE in recent weeks. Sgt. Animals are not freaks but the people calling them that are. Humans have done more damage to our environment than any other animal on the face of the planet. The animals listed here live off human waste and garbage, so it says more about us than them.
One of these little freaks tore a piece out of my cat’s tail last week.
No, The Stranger. Actually what I’m thinking is that Stranger editors constant digs at Lake City and NE Seattle are tired and revealing. Why don’t you all venture out more often—like this writer is daring to do. Don’t be pretentious. Lots of people up here in NE Seattle working hard to make cool, inclusive, livable and authentic businesses and homes. Basically in its current state, it’s closer than any other neighborhood to the Seattle that everyone romanticizes and is nostalgic about. Because you maybe went to a strip club in college here, or once bought a car does not define a neighborhood. Also, yeah, Korochka rules.
Tenlee Kercher Bell
For that lame no collusion joke, go back 3 spaces and lose a turn.
There used to be 100 bars like this in Seattle. Now just a few.
Chris Clasen Keely Jared lets give it a try
Love this bar! They love my pup too!
The headline is schlocky click-bait at best.
Why don’t you stay in your better neighborhood? Pompous review.
Ok, at first I thought this story was about Lake City, Florida—which is so NOT the hotbed of cosmopolitan folk.
Amy K Jackson
Yes! Great gals!!
Morgan Hermanns we should check this place out!
Great place to sample the flavors of my childhood growing up in the Midwest farmland settled by my East German ancestors.Prost!
Been there several times, great place and super friendly!
Judy Burkhart for next time you’re in town. My treat
Vodka and cigarettes.... Ahhh.. Russian breakfast.
It's been there for a couple years.
Love that place
It's a cute cozy little bar. Just like many of the ones in neighborhoods all over Seattle. Yes, Lake City is a Seattle neighborhood you elitist assholes. The implication of the headline is that Lake City somehow is less desirable than other neighborhoods in Seattle. It would be easier for me to defend Seattle media if you weren't such douchebags all the time.
San Francisco here we come!
It's a shame none of us saw this coming 25 years ago and - oh, wait a minute...
House parties = classic Democrat fundraising tool. Get a bunch of people in a room, have hors d'oeuvres, maybe some wine, let candidate speak, ask people to max out donations. 🙋🏻♂️$500 please.
dispute your ticket and state the vehicle is your home and you can not afford to pay the fines or make it to court but want to do the right thing. I park illegally all over Seattle and have had 3 tickets dropped this way. They do not have the resources to research or enforce. Or mail in and dispute it and subpoena everyone involved they can afford to do it . THIS city is Dying.
It's the same reason Seattle has a "top 100 repeat criminal offenders" list. There's no money in enforcing the laws against drug-addled vagrant bums. Replacing just the city council won't fix the problem. County politicians and prosecutor must go in order for things to change to help hard-working taxpayers...people who just want to live safely in the neighborhoods they're paying big bucks in which to live.
But the city is more than happy to tow vehicles for us taxpaying residents. Why? Because they know they can shake money from us.
Courtney Dudley exactly what I was saying... Unequal policing now with discrimination against those who can actually pay the fine
Just don’t renew your tabs and they will leave you alone probably
Stop voting the same types of politicians into office over and over again, or nothing will change.
how many are down by the kiddy pool, AKA, "stretch mark park"?
Parallel legal systems.
They cant squeeze any money out of the homeless. So they only pick on taxpayers
This looks like an easy way to make some money reverse discrimination if they don't ticket the homeless for parking their vehicles illegally then all you have to have is a notarized picture and you can go and get them for reverse discrimination
Everyone knows the homeless won’t/can’t pay. So they get the low hanging fruit, that generates revenue
Ticket them. Fine them. They don’t pay jail them. #ProblemSolved
That's always the way. Leftists coddle the deviant behavior and punish us normal folks.
Well, I guess that speaks to the class of Edmonds. That's too bad, I used to enjoy that waterfront during the summer.
"Edmonds Diversity Commission" ?
I deliberately cater to small busineses. And I don't care where their ancestry is.
I came from Baltimore... I'm not going back!
I deliberately shop at small businesses. And I don't care what the owner's ancestry is.
https://patch.com/washington/edmonds/woman-yells-racist-remarks-family-edmonds-report Seems to be a thing up there
I know not everyone from edmonds is a nut case because my cuz and her family live there BUT as to the rest . . . .
I keep hearing these kinds of stories out there, and not just in Edmonds, so much for open mindedness, acceptance and tolerance people. Nobody stood up for these people and this small business? Nobody saw this going on?
All I can say is that I don't remember Washington being like this . . . but maybe I'm wrong.
The people of Fiji are beautiful, wonderful people. And you sure can bet your money on the fact that HE IS HERE LEGALLY.
It seems he's not closing over racial harassment of a one time, one person incident. People don't invest and only operate a business for a month and close over something like that, they close because they aren't making it in business. Their expansion to try to make it profitable by bringing in the truck rental shows that and is understandably concerning to neighbors.
Misleading that the decision to close is on this incident, not on his business profit and loss.
The paradise that democrats socialists have built
Americans dying mysteriously in Fiji
I was told "go back where you came from" by a co-worker on the sales floor at Nordstrom and Nordstrom did nothing. Guess Eastern Europeans don't qualify for such protections?
That whole area up there is full of diverse immigrants. Certainly an I’migrant owned business is not an abnormality for the neighborhood. There is a gang/organized crime element that already has dibs on the moving business in the area. Perhaps they persuaded him to chose another line of work.
Here in San Diego the courts have ruled that the homeless have a right to live anywhere. The cops have been ordered not to interfere with their sleeping on the sidewalks!
"John" talks about being covered in feces THREE TIMES, yet still thinks the park would be great for a company BBQ. Not the smartest.
It seems to me that the Parks Dept has a duty to make sure that a space that has been rented is clean, and appropriately for the renters event. On the flip side he should have known better.....
Sad that the productive, law-abiding, taxpaying citizens of a community cannot enjoy the fruits of THEIR labor because the governments now cater to those who are non-productive, non-taxpaying, not law-abiding citizens who contribute nothing to their community or society in general. They take, take and take some more and expect everything to be handed to them. And guess what? That’s exactly what’s happening! Meanwhile the people who do things right get shafted!
Simple - pack the needy people up - bus them to City Council homes and their neighborhoods - maybe we will then see the change for the needy! They are now a money making business for our City Council to line their pockets and their families. The only way to get change is to make change - LET iT START - the masses will follow!!👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
In Milwaukee Wisconsin the homeless camp out in MacArthur Square. Basically right outside the windows of the courthouse and Safety building. About a year and a half ago I was asked by one of my bosses to move them out (The judges were complaining). So I moved them out. Two weeks later the homeless advocates go to court and are granted an injunction (by the same judges) to allow them to stay. That made absolutely I sense at all. I wonder what they are going to do with the homeless when the city hosts the Democratic National Convention in 2020.
Time for solutions - take action and move them to City Council homes and neighborhoods so the needy can get the help they so deserve! They are not getting the help on the Seattle streets so let’s help them- bus them to the City Council homes so they can be protected and nurtured!
Only makes sense since they make the rules! Get the buses up and running! 👍🙏
Nice job Seattle! Need to practice tough love
This issue is not exclusive to Seattle. The Tri Cities has a growing population of citizens that have decided to make our parks their Summer homes!
Think it's time for all ligitiment campers to bring your tents, campers, trailers BBQs, ATVs, boom boxes, hots dog sticks, Smores, everything you would normally take to a State Park and set up camp all over the city. A huge invasion of real campers. And this after mailing back your Discovery Passes to Olympia. Equal justice under the law should allow any of us to camp at Greenlake, Woodland Park, Discovery Park, or right on the waterfront. That will finnaly get some attention.
It’s only gonna get worse until you drain the sawant.
Seattle is 💩💩💩 run by 🤡🤡🤡
They should refund the $300 he paid to rent the spot.
Seattle is completely surrounded by other Suburban communities... sorry, but anybody with any amount of Common Sense would have looked for that park space elsewhere
These stories are the best, you Seattleites voted for the politicians that have rolled out the red carpet for the homeless, now YOU can live with the filth that goes with it. Those of us normal people with something known as "common sense", will sit on the outside and laugh at you.
Did he know...the Park was in Seattle?
Who goes there?
I don't. It's an asylum run by lunatics.
🤡CITY OF🤡 SEATTLE 🤡 IS MANAGED BY 🤡 CLOWNS
This a good read-shame on Seattle shame on you!
I moved from podunk-literal-nowhere to Belltown in 2004. I was in love with the city! I mean it had its spots but I never felt unsafe, I saw the occasional things in dark alleys as I walked home from college, things that now happen in the open. It happens in front of everyone and for those of us law abiding citizens who pay to park, who pee in actual restrooms, who pay for our merchandise, who follow the laws, pay the taxes, pay our rent/mortgage continue to get screwed by this mess, these loiters, these law abusers. 15 years later I could care less if I ever go back! That makes me sad to say it but the council has let the beautiful city go to $#!+.
It’s a free for all in Seattle. I haven’t stepped foot in that city in about 4 years. It’s only going to get worse. What a nightmare.
Seattle city council, the Mayor, and the Governor are directly responsible for killing Seattle
Can I say it yet... Happy we moved far far away...
It's sad to think you are more concerned about your BBQ than why there are homeless. Why not having affordable healthcare or housing can leave someone with no other answer. Your solution is to make it harder on the homeless. Most of you are one paycheck away from being in the same situation.
What do you expect? Renting a park in Seattle that's what your gonna get!
Until this is dealt with effectively, I would urge anyone to Vote NO on any Future Park Levies....when the City gets hurt in ther wallet maybe things will change...also I hope this man got his $300 refund, if not I would be taking the City to Court and ask for way more than $300
I grew up by woodland park and it was so nice and safe. What can we do to fix this problem
Same regarding the viaduct. Japan company offered retrofitting on many of our bridges including the viaduct but, the cronies had already been making deals with developers.
Well hooray for "former". Planning for reality got you down?! Until we find creative ways to stem the flow of new residents we better get busy putting apartment buildings in our backyards with 6 lane highways out front. You can't be for this rampant population increase and against the necessary infrastructure if you wish to be considered sane.
McGinn is a disgrace.
Mayor mcshwin is just sad he can’t have homeless encampments while the bridge is under construction
Over budget and behind schedule.
Seattle is gone to pot
Ummm electric cars and fleet vehicles, bicycles, pedicabs for some reason aren’t good enough for a new bridge if they do succeed in getting rid of fossils fuel vehicles?
